Active Communities > Women Matter resources
'Women matter' was VSO's incredibly successful campaign on women & HIV, which ran from November 2007 to June 2008. The lobbying phase of the campaign has now finished and resulted in policy changes, which will improve the access to HIV prevention, treatment and care for millions of women. However there is still more to be done to raise awareness and press for change around the issue of AIDS & gender inequality. Our new campaign, launching this November, will also focus on the issue of gender inequality so it will be possible to combine these ideas with signing new Action Cards.
Therefore the campaigns team has put together some resources for anyone who still wishes to do a project on the issues raised by the campaign. If you have any questions or would like to request other campaign resources please contact them on campaigns@vso.org.uk
